This is going to fetch a penny as pretty as its appearance.
When it comes to prestigious auction houses, one of the best in the country is Barrett-Jackson. This auction house is responsible for facilitating the restoration and sale of some of the most treasured automotive art pieces on the planet. Sure, the auctioneers also help sell other notable models, like the first-ever Ram TRX, but it’s the classics and rare unicorns that we’re most interested in, and the latest to go up for sale is one of the most exquisite. A 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 that has been subject to a full restoration, this is one of the finest classic offerings we’ve seen so far this year.

The gorgeous red sports car in question has recently received an overhaul of the original four-cam 3.3-liter V12 – Ferrari claimed figures of 300 horsepower from this unit – which is paired with the original five-speed manual gearbox. It comes with a detailed history, as well as the car’s original tool bag and brochure. Better still is the fact that the car has just 60,015 miles. When it comes to cars as rare as this – just 330 GTB/4s were produced between 1966 and 1968 – mileage isn’t usually all that important, but having such a low number on the odometer is certainly a bonus, especially when that mileage hasn’t been tampered with.

Unfortunately, this model is missing the optional Borrani wire wheels that were offered back in the late sixties, but those are as rare as hens’ teeth. This model’s red paint over tan leather is iconic though and looks as good as new. But with no reserve listed for the classic Fezza, which will go under the hammer this month at Scottsdale, it’ll be mighty expensive. It’s still sure to be snapped up quickly, but if you miss out, you can always buy its great-grandchild and recreate a classic movie in an SF90 Stradale. It’s not the same, but hey, at least you won’t have a top speed of only 166 mph.
