TechArt Goes Green On Porsche Taycan’s Interior

TechArt announced its intentions to upgrade the Taycan back in June of last year, and today’s release builds on the already-available TechArt Formula VI forged wheel. TechArt says that after this new interior offering, we’ll see further styling upgrades for the exterior with carbon fiber trims and parts coming soon. So what do we have here?

Well, the leather you see has been perforated in a honeycomb pattern with the underlying leather finished in a contrasting color to create a shimmering effect. Various other perforation designs are available, but we think this looks pretty good. What first catches your eye, however, is the piping that is also in that contrasting color. Although TechArt doesn’t say so, this color seems to be an adaptation of the Acid Green that looked so good on the Porsche 918 Spyder. Combined with jet black Alcantara, it gives a fascinatingly sporty look.

The transformation is completed by the addition of TechArt’s signature steering wheel with a center marker. The wheel features a driving mode switch and screws in contrasting color too, and with TechArt not specifically mentioning any one color, it’s safe to assume that there are numerous hues to choose from. You can also add painted trim elements, contrasting stitching, carbon fiber accents, and the aforementioned perforations in various styles and designs, all whilst retaining OEM functionality of steering heating and other functions.

No pricing is mentioned, but with so many ways to customize the cabin, we suspect that pricing will depend on your configuration. TechArt doesn’t expressly say so, but you can be sure that the recently revealed Taycan Cross Turismo will also have access to these upgrades.
