The perfect blend of classic style, modern tech, and OEM+ modification.

The Chevrolet Corvette has been cruising the highways and byways of America for over half a century, and these days, classic models such as the C2, built between 1963 and 1967, are highly sought after. Sure the mid-engined C8 Corvette is fast and looks cool, but who wouldn’t want to be seen in a classic ‘Vette, especially a mean-looking resto-mod? Flat Out Autos, a modification and restoration shop out of Arizona which is responsible for some of the coolest builds around, have just completed a stunning restomod C2 which is set to go on the Barrett-Jackson auction block soon, and it’s one of the cleanest builds we’ve seen in a while.

The exterior of this C2 Corvette features a timeless white paint job with the prerequisite racing stripe flowing down the center of the car, which perfectly tapers off at the front end. The stance is low, but not stupidly so, and the gorgeous multi-spoke wheel design by Curtis Speed Equipment are wrapped in sticky Nitto NT05 tires with red pinstriping. All the chrome work seems to have been tightened around the body for a sleek look that just works, and the Detroit Speed headlights beautifully wrap up the cars’ face. Under the hood, you’ll find a modern LS engine that has been treated to aftermarket goodies such as a “Tri-Power” intake, a Holley Dominator ECU, and big block valve covers.

The exterior is seriously gorgeous, but it is only once you step inside the cabin that you realize just how much effort has gone into this build. The interior features sumptuous red leather upholstery matched by red carpeting. Finer details include billet power window switches by Watson’s StreetWorks. This C2 has been brought up to speed with features such as wireless phone charging, Bluetooth streaming, and a four-speaker sound system. It’s clean, simple, and classy, just the way we like our Corvettes. There’s no word yet on what the reserve ism if anything, or how much it’ll go for, but we’re expecting this restomod to fetch big bucks, as previous restomod ‘Vettes have done.
