Nissan’s new model onslaught is showing no signs of slowing down.

This month is already filled with new Nissan model debuts, including the all-new Frontier pickup truck and the next-generation Pathfinder crossover. But Nissan’s product model onslaught won’t stop there, because the Japanese automaker has confirmed the new Qashqai will make its world debut on February 18 during a livestream event on Nissan’s European YouTube channel at 11:00 a.m. CET (5:00 a.m. ET).

In the US, the Qashqai will be sold as the Rogue Sport, which will likely debut after Europe’s Qashqai. Previewed in a new teaser video, we get a revealing look at the redesigned exterior and interior.

At the front, the new Rogue Sport features stylish new LED headlights connected to slim daytime running lights that merge into a larger V-motion grille. As we saw in spy shots of prototypes, the overall proportions will mimic the new Nissan Juke, which is discontinued in America. Inside, Nissan has already confirmed the new Rogue Sport will be equipped with a larger nine-inch infotainment display with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay.

A separate 12.3 inch TFT screen is also located behind the steering wheel displaying navigation, entertainment, traffic or vehicle information controlled by a dial on the steering wheel. Navigation, driver assistance, and road information can also be projected on a new 10.8-inch head-up-display, which will likely be reserved for premium trims.

The seats are finished in nappa leather with a 3D diamond quilted design, while the front seats in the range-topping model come with a massage function with three program modes.

In Europe, the new Nissan Qashqai will be powered by a 1.3-liter turbocharged mild-hybrid engine developing 138 horsepower when equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox or 158 hp with a CVT. The latter setup is available with all-wheel drive. An e-Power hybrid variant will join the lineup later with a combined output of 190 hp. More details will be revealed on February 18, when we’ll hopefully find out more about US availability.
