Only 36 units of the TS900 Apex cars will be built, at $1.6 million a piece.
The last couple of years have been abuzz with news of wild new hypercars entering the market, and while traditional market leaders such as Bugatti and McLaren keep developing new machines, outsiders have also joined the race. We’ve covered some insane creations from Greece all the way to 1,000-horsepower Indian EVs and everything in between. While some newcomers such as the Rimac Nevera have found acclaim in automotive circles, others have disappeared off the face of the Earth with no explanation, but it seems like one Slovenian outsider is fighting its way into this exclusive club. We first heard of Tushek back in 2012 when it brought us the Renovatio T500, and then in 2019 when it unveiled the TS900 H Apex. The company has now returned with an updated machine that delivers more power and less weight.

In 2019, Tushek bragged about its 937 horsepower hybrid hypercar that weighed almost 350 pounds lighter than a Ferrari SF90 Stradale (at 3,108 lbs). The company claimed a 0-60 mph time of just 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 236 mph. Powered by a 4.2-liter turbocharged V8 engine and two electric motors, the TS900 Apex was supposed to take on the world, and now its back, and sharper than ever.
The updated TS900 will make its global debut at Salon Prive London next week with a new power output of 1,332 hp and a curb weight of under 2,976 lbs. Tushek claims that the TS900 is the world’s lightest hybrid hypercar, and makes use of “aviation grade electric drive technologies” to achieve maximum performance. The updated car can reach 62 mph in 2.3 seconds, 124 mph in 7.4 seconds, and hit a top speed of 236 mph.

If you’re not a fan of Koenigsegg, and you’re tired of your Bugatti Chiron, then the TS900 Apex could be an interesting, and affordable choice. Starting at £1.25 million ($1.62 million) the Tushek TS900 Apex is an affordable hypercar, but only 36 are being built. Those who want something even more hardcore can look out for the TS 900 Race Pro. This race-ready machine will feature a power-to-weight ratio of 1.13:1, and only 12 will be built.
