A new report says we’ll see the new supercar on September 12.
Pagani is one of the world’s finest luxury automakers, but it has been accused of failing to come up with something new for a while now. Even in 2022, the brand’s Zonda supercar is still part of the Italian brand’s plans. The Zonda has seen many different iterations and variations including a special version made for Lewis Hamilton, and things with the Huayra appear to be going the same way. But that doesn’t mean that the well of ideas has dried up, and Pagani is working on something to replace the Huayra.
This car has the internal codename C10, and while we have learned some details, we haven’t had any idea of when this replacement will arrive. That has now changed if a report from The Supercar Blog is to be believed.

According to the publication, sources have revealed that “Pagani is likely to reveal the C10 this summer.” In fact, there is said to be a specific date in mind: September 12, 2022. A leak from earlier this year showed an evolution of the Huayra’s design, but it’s also possible that this leak was showing some sort of one-off creation based on the Huayra. Whatever the case, we’ll know for sure soon. With the Pagani Huayra now in its 11th year on the market, a replacement is long overdue. So what can we expect this hypercar to offer, besides masterful craftsmanship and attention to detail?

So far, we know that the C10 will be powered by a new version of the 6.0-liter AMG-sourced V12 engine, with this paired to either a six-speed manual or a new generation of sequential gearbox. Apparently, the choice to offer two type of transmissions came from the fact that Pagani actually lost customers who would only buy a Huayra with three pedals. Whatever gearbox you choose, the C10 will be light and fast and will not utilize hybrid technology, although the automaker is working on an EV of some sort. With no more than 300 examples – including special editions – due to be produced, the Huayra replacement will be as rare as any Pagani that came before it. We can’t wait to see what it’s like.
