Including six Bugatti Baby IIs for the owner’s six children.
Bugatti builds some of the fastest and most luxurious cars in the world, and it has a rich heritage that stretches back over a century. Based in Molsheim, France, this exclusive manufacturer not only goes the extra mile when it comes to vehicle customization, but it also places high importance on customer experience and is known to treat its clients with some of the mostelaborate events and exquisite accessories. The company’s latest handover is the perfect example of how far Bugatti will go to keep its most important clients happy, and spits in the face of every average Joe alive today. Hosted at Bugatti’s famed Château Saint-Jean, this elaborate handover included a Chiron Super Sport 300+, a one-of-eight Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition, and no less than six Bugatti Baby IIs.
Bugatti calls these handovers “The Molsheim Experience” and allows customers to fully immerse themselves in the rich history of the brand. The lucky owner of these new Bugatti cars flew his six children out to the event to explore the Atelier and see how some of the world’s finest hypercars are created. The tour of the Bugatti grounds includes a visit to an exclusive museum which houses classics such as the exquisite Type 41 Royale and Type 35 racer. After the tour, the client and his children were escorted to the grand unveiling in front of the Chateau.
The two centerpieces of the great unveiling both set new speed records. Only 30 units of the Customer Chiron Super Sport 300+ have been produced, and this vehicle holds the title of first production series car to surpass 300 mph.
The Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition is just as special, and attained the title of fastest open top car in the world in 2013 with a top speed of 254 mph.
Not to let his poor children be excluded from the experience, the client also had six Bugatti Baby IIs custom made, every single car curated to each of the owner’s children. The Bugatti Baby II was built in partnership with The Little Car Company, and celebrated Bugatti’s 110th anniversary in 2019. These electric mini racers are built to 75 percent scale of the Type 35 racer, and features a range of 31 miles and a top speed of 42 mph. We’ve heard of dealerships putting a red ribbon on new cars, but this is simply nuts.
