And it’s coming this summer.
California-based Rezvani Motors has an impressive mix of cars in its portfolio. The company produces the Rezvani Tank X, a massiveJeep Wrangler-based SUV with a supercharged Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat engine under the hood. On the opposite end of the spectrum, it makes the Rezvani Beast, which is based on an Ariel Atom but with bodywork laid over it. Rezvani showed off a limited edition Beast Alpha X Blackbird (named after the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird jet fighter) with 700 horsepower back in 2018, and now the company plans to introduce something even crazier.
“Coming this summer, Rezvani is proud to announce the 2023 Rezvani Beast,” the company said in a press release. “With over 1,000 horsepower, Beast will live up to its name. Under its carbon fiber body and exotic doors, Beast will feature a twin-turbocharged mid-engine layout providing the perfect balance and driving position for the driver.”

That is a massive output jump from the last Beast, which already produced impressive horsepower figures. Rezvani hasn’t specified what engine this new Beast will use, but it’s tough to imagine the company can extract any more power from the outgoing model’s 2.5-liter supercharged four-cylinder. To get that engine to 700 hp (up from 450 hp in the standard Beast), it required a Cosworth ECU and forged pistons, cams, rods, valves, and springs. Perhaps Rezvani will find some way to cram (and cool) a Hellcat motor in the tiny Ariel Atom frame.

We are excited to see what 1,000 hp does to the Beast’s performance metrics, as the Beast Alpha X Blackbird already posted some impressive numbers. It could sprint to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds thanks to an extremely low 2,099-pound curb weight. Buyers could choose a six-speed manual or six-speed sequential transmission.
Order books are open now with a $250 refundable reservation. We don’t know the price yet, but the Limited Edition Blackbird model was priced at $225,000.
