An upgrade to 700 horsepower doesn’t make up for the looks.

Somehow, despite Ford’s careful vetting of the people it sells is American supercar to, oddball tuner Mansory has got its hands on another Ford GT. The second of three planned Le Mansory models being revealed, like the first, the new model is a pumped-up custom supercar based on the Ford GT. It features all the same styling changes, including a replacement body made of carbon fiber, a whole new front fascia with odd eyebrows over the headlights, a monster of a new wing, and an admittedly cool tri-tip exhaust setup at the back. However, this one is finished in black with red accents.

What we can get behind is the power upgrade, because more power is never a bad thing. Ford GT’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 already produces a heart-racing 600 horsepower, but Mansory has weaved its magic and cranked that up to a claimed 700 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque. Mansory also claims an increase of top speed to 220 mph.

The interior looks fine until you see the big Le Mansory name stitched into the Alcantara covered door sills. We get that Mansory is playing on the Ford GT’s Le Mans history, but it just comes off as tacky to us.

We don’t know if Mansory just decided to build this themselves or for a customer. Either way, the original blue model is being sold with an asking price of over $2 million. If you like this and have the money, and a Ford GT, then the third slot for a Le Mansory is likely still open. We’re also sure Mansory will just upgrade the engine for those that would like their GT to retain its value over the decades.
