Jeep leads us on a virtual Easter egg hunt.
Things are getting interesting ahead of this year’s Jeep Easter Safari. For those of you out of the loop, it’s a yearly event put on by the automaker. Usually, it consists of lots of off-roading, Jeep owners discussing the best way to tackle particular routes, and some special cars brought along by the manufacturer themselves.
This year is no different. We’ve been getting cryptic Jeep Easter Safar teasers for about a month now. Right now, the tally stands at four teasers total. The hard part is figuring out what the brand will show up with. Thanks to this latest teaser, we think we’ve got some ideas.
The photo you see above is the latest image. Obviously, it’s of a Jeep Wrangler of some kind. Or is it of a Jeep Gladiator? We think it’s the latter. With 4XE written on the side, it feels a pretty safe bet to the teased car is a Gladiator 4xe. Jeep already has a Wrangler 4xe, and there’d be no use in teasing one of those unless it was heavily modified.
That makes us think Jeep will be bringing a new Gladiator 4xe to the Easter Jeep Safari, but there’s a catch. Some rumors indicate a Gladiator 4xe won’t be seen until 2024. However, this could be Jeep teasing the concept car.

While the manufacturer typically has a tradition of rocking up (get it??) with running vehicles, a 4xe concept could be the thing to break the trend. Another trend with the Easter Safari is Jeep’s penchant for showing up with more than one car. So, in addition to this hypothetical Gladiator 4xe, we’re expecting to see at least two new cars based on the images Jeep has shared with us. One of them will certainly be something based on the Wagoneer, and another still will likely be based on the Wrangler teaser image above.
