Hyundai Teases New Staria Minivan Of The Future

Hyundai might be reeling from one of the most expensive recalls ever, but it is managing to keep its head held high and continues its march towards an EV future with the recent reveal of the company’s first bespoke EV, the Hyundai EV6. The Korean manufacturer is also keeping up in the AI arms race with its own AI voice recognition technology. The latest to come from Hyundai is a first peek at the Staria, a new people mover that takes on a very futuristic look and feel and promises to offer a premium in-car experience. The pics show the Staria Premium, which offers a more high-end experience than the standard car.

Hyundai came up with the new name by combining the words ‘star’ and ‘ria’ which according to the company showcases the “vehicle’s future-oriented product values and streamlined design characteristics defined by one curve gesture silhouettes as well as clean and pure body volume”. Sounds like a load of marketing gobbledygook, but we’ve come to expect that from press releases these days. The exterior of the Staria resembles something out of 2001: A Space Odyssey; we dig the sci-fi look of it, and those massive panoramic windows are sure to provide excellent visibility. The LED DRL that crosses straight through the front of the car and the square fog lights wrap things up Cyberpunk style.
