Amazing Display Of 95 British Cars Will Mark Each Year Of The Queen’s Life

This year, the Goodwood Festival of Speed will return on July 8-11 and will once again be open to the public. This isn’t the only motor show taking place in the UK, however, because the prestigious Concours of Elegance is also returning on September 3-5. Unlike the Goodwood Festival of Speed, last year’s Concours of Elegance also opened its doors to the public.

To celebrate the Queen’s 95th birthday, this year’s event will host a special display featuring 95 of the finest British motorsport and production cars from the 1920s up to the present day, with one car from each of her life.

The iconic Range Rover will be one of several models representing the 1970s, while the 1987 Lotus Esprit Turbo will represent the 1980s, which packs a 2.2-liter four-cylinder that enabled the lightweight British supercar to accelerate from 0-62 mph in less than six seconds. Iconic cars such as the TVR Griffith, Lotus Elise, Jaguar XJ220, and Aston Martin DB7 will make up the 1990s lineup, while the McLaren Senna will be one of several modern supercars on display. Outside of the Queen’s 95th Birthday Celebration Display, nearly 1,000 vehicles will be on display at the prestigious event.

Tickets for the Concours of Elegance 2021 are currently available starting at £30 ($42.50) for a half-day entry. Three-day hospitality packages are also available from £288 ($407.99).
