Had a similar issue and it was my thermostat. It was stuck open, never really allowing the Jeep to warm all the way up. What I did get took forever in the winter too. Once I replaced the thermostat, she heats up quick and I get great heat out of it. I would start there. If you do, you may as well drain/flush/refill the coolant system while you are at it.
