Thankfully, there will be just ten of these.
Brabus has been producing a lot of crazy content of late, including a 900-horsepower boat and a 900-hp Mercedes-Maybach GLS. The tuner seems to be cramming its not-quite-a-thousand-horsepower package into as many creations as it possibly can, as it has also revealed a barebones Bronco Raptor killer called the Crawler, again with the same output. If that wasn’t enough, the controversial company has now revealed yet another creation with – you guessed it – 900 hp. As a favorite of the tuning outfit, the Mercedes-AMG G63 once again underpins a ballsy Brabus build, and this time, just ten will be made. Say hello to the Brabus 900 XLP pickup.

Confession time: the XLP 900 actually makes 900 mechanical horsepower, which translates to just shy of 888 metric horsepower, but we doubt that’ll be a reason not to buy the car. What may put you off is its appearance. We’ll discuss that momentarily, but first, some more headline figures: Torque is capped at 774 lb-ft, but the 4.5-liter twin-turbo V8 (up from 4.0 liters as standard) can actually manage as much as 922 lb-ft. The 0-62 mph sprint takes just 4.4 seconds and top speed is limited to 130 mph. The latter figure may seem disappointing at first, but this vehicle is more of an off-roader anyway, and as such, it boasts an impressive 19.3 inches of ground clearance.

Sadly, Brabus hasn’t given us many specifics on this vehicle except to say that only ten will be built and that the example you see here is finished in Rocket Grey paint with a black interior that is littered with carbon fiber and red-glazed accents. We can see more red in the suspension, the grille, and the 22-inch Brabus Z/HD forged wheels, while a new hood and a light bar with more carbon fiber help give this monster a more menacing look. Unique badges, clocks, pedals, and even a special bed liner help set this car further apart, but if you’re wondering what the price is, Brabus didn’t tell us. Rest assured, it’s not low.
