If you’re in the market for the 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan, there are plenty of options. There’s the base C300 model starting at $43,550, the sportier C43 AMG model with 402 horsepower, and even a frugal plug-in hybrid version. But what if you want something that’s more aggressive than the base car, but not quite as punchy as the AMG? Well, famous German tuner Brabus has the answer.
Brabus has just introduced upgrades for the latest generation C-Class, including the gas-powered C300 and the diesel-powered C300d (not available in the US). These upgrades are available for the sedan and the wagon version that’s offered in Europe, bridging the gap between the C300 and the C43.

C300 owners can opt for the Brabus PowerXtra B30 label, increasing the 2.0-liter four-cylinder’s output by 42 hp through a plug-and-play module with special maps for injection, ignition, and boost pressure. Total output increases from 255 hp and 295 lb-ft to 296 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. Though it’s not offered in the US, we also wanted to mention the PowerXtra D30 performance kit for the diesel C-Class. This package adds 44 hp and 37 lb-ft, resulting in a total of 306 hp and 443 lb-ft. It’s also worth noting that these engine upgrades are covered by a three-year, 100,000-kilometers (62,000-mile) warranty from Brabus.

The B30 and D30 aren’t just faster, they look more aggressive too. Brabus developed new bodywork using OEM quality materials to create a factory appearance. The body kit includes front spoiler corners to reduce front-axle lift at high speeds and a rear spoiler to reduce rear-axle lift, improving overall stability.
Special Brabus quad tailpipes and monoblock wheels complete the transformation, giving these cars a special edge over a standard C-Class with the AMG Line styling kit. Buyers can opt for wheels ranging from 18 to 20 inches, including the 19-inch monoblock Z alloys pictured here. These cars also sit a bit lower to the ground, between 0.8 and 1.2 inches depending on the model, with Brabus sport springs. Inside, Brabus offers special touches like aluminum pedals, high-branded mats, and even custom leather interiors.
